ALZAIMOOR’s representative, Mr. Muhammad Khurram Sheikh (Advisor for Finance and Business Development) delivered the Keynote address at the event. He also actively participated in a panel discussion alongside panelists from other organizations.

Seamless is an annual event held in Saudi Arabia and other countries around the globe covering the latest innovation in payments, Fintech, retail, and e-commerce. Speakers during the event discussed the developments in the financial services, payments, and e-commerce industries locally and globally. Topics covered during the event included digital banking, eKYC, cashless payments, digital wallets and financial inclusion, among others.

The event was hosted by the Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj. The event sessions revolved around discussions on the developments in the Islamic financial industry locally and globally and reviewed the most prominent achievements and lessons during the past two decades. A joint SAMA & IFSB report entitled “Leading the Way 20 Years of Islamic Finance Development” was also launched during the conference.

The conference highlighted successful and few ongoing restructuring solutions for large corporations and family businesses in the current market conditions while fostering effective management of non-performing asset (NPA) portfolios of MENA’s banks and financial institutions.

The Conference provided an opportunity to discuss matters with various stakeholders including the Bankruptcy Commission of Saudi Arabia. The conference witnessed the Secretary-General Mr. Abdullah Saad Al-Mogheerah’s speech about the most important features of the financial restructuring procedures in Bankruptcy Law and prominent developments in the field as well as the Commission’s role in enabling the Law and its accomplishments.
