The Financial Restructuring MENA Conference, hosted by Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) on the 15th & 16th of March 2023, brought together large corporations, some of MENA’s largest banks and key stakeholders to address corporate insolvencies and debt restructurings in the wider MENA region at the ADGM Authorities Building in Abu Dhabi.
The conference highlighted successful and few ongoing restructuring solutions for large corporations and family businesses in the current market conditions while fostering effective management of non-performing asset (NPA) portfolios of MENA’s banks and financial institutions.
Mr. Matar M Al-Khateeb and Mr. Faisal Shaikh, respectively General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of ALZAIMOOR Finance Limited attended the Conference.
The Conference provided an opportunity to discuss matters with various stakeholders including the Bankruptcy Commission of Saudi Arabia. The conference witnessed the Secretary-General Mr. Abdullah Saad Al-Mogheerah’s speech about the most important features of the financial restructuring procedures in Bankruptcy Law and prominent developments in the field as well as the Commission’s role in enabling the Law and its accomplishments.
